Women’s Rights, Immigrants Rights
Two simple yet, apparently complex and rage-inducing topics to some folks. Big scary words; women’s & immigrant’s rights.
I still can not understand how in 2025, the idea that everyone is afforded the same rights as one another is a shocking statement makes no sense.
Civil War, what?
We had a war on our own soil, fighting our citizens over this idea. Families faced off on the battlefield and died for the belief that they held more value over another human being.
Yet, still, here we are nearly 160 years later and a group of people still cling tight to the idea they should have more rights than others.
My rights are the same as the next person, plain and simple.
Women should have the ultimate say over their bodies, Full Stop. Women’s rights are not up for debate. Full Stop.
Unless you are an indigenous person, I hope you are ready for the plot twist, your family are immigrants.
If your family were immigrants, don’t you think they deserved rights as well? If you don’t well, I hate to break it to you, but you are saying you don’t deserve rights either. Immigrant’s rights are not up for debate. Full Stop.
